Objective
To deomonstrate the capabilities of the QT150 and the QSM Technique, tailored for the Production board recovery and Quality Assurance test
Test Setup
Ch #0 to Ch #7 of the QT150 Card #0 is connected to the 8 Test Points brought out from the Tuner. In order to accomplish it is enough if we have just one Mux card - ie with only 64 Channels. More advanced method of interfacing can be accomodated with the Bed of Nails and the solenoids to actuate the UUT (Unit Under Test) Test Fixture.
Learning
The test software provides features to learn all the 8 test points with different voltage and different frequency settings with the QSM through the fixture setup.
Report
The user can choose to print out the results at the end of the test automatically. This feature enable even the low level operator to use the QT150.
The typical Error Log looks like this
Tested Board ID : B0

Test began at 13:30:13 - 10/01/96
and ends at 13:31:59 - 10/01/96
Board B0 Fails
Device TEST1 Fails

What is shown on the ERROR LOG / REPORT?
Open and short circuits are given higher priority
Occurance failures are the number of failures to the total number of traces for the particular pin.
Deviation failures are the failures beyond the deviation set forth by the user for every pin - and this is not in sorted order.
What does it indicate?
A higher percentage of failure in the occurance failure for only a specific pin indicates that it is the failure inside the IC.
A higher percentage of failure for a specific combination of pins in the occurance shows the inputs to the IC is bad.
