This course will benefit people who want to improve their expertise in Hardware Maintenance or those who are interested in having a practical hands-on training in Component level Troubleshooting of Electronic Cards / PCBs, using the latest techniques.
Service personnel in Defence organisations, industries like Telecom, Industrial Automation, third party maintenance houses, and large and medium sized organisations, where the concept of in-house electronic maintenance is promoted, are sure to enhance their expertise from this course. This will also help electronic engineers, technicians working in troubleshooting / maintenance of CNC Machines, Biomedical Equipments, Feedback controls and PLCs (used in industries like Power, Steel, Cement, Textiles, Fertiliser units, Machinery manufacturing units, etc.)

Who is organising this course?
This course is the result of the joint efforts of The School of Instrumentation & Electronics, MIT, Anna University & Qmax Technologies.
MIT Madras is well known for the pioneering role it has played in technical education for over 50 years with its emphasis on practical aspects of the profession. Qmax Technologies is a market leader in the field of manufacturing computerised PCB trouble-shooting & test equipment. Their coming together has given birth to this unique venture to promote the technological skills of Electronics Engineers and Technicians.

What does the course offer?

(Forenoons will be theory sessions which includes Guest lectures from experts in the field, followed by extensive practical sessions in the afternoons.)

A certificate will be offered on completion of the course.

Monday  the 4th January 1999  to  Friday  the 8th January 1999.

              Afternoon   -   01.00  -  04.30

On request, assistance for accommodation can be provided.

The course is limited only to about 20 participants, on first-come-first-served basis. However, the excess registration will be booked for the subsequent batch with the participant’s consent.
