1993
Qmax Test Equipments Pvt. Ltd., was formed as 100% Export Oriented Unit under EHTP scheme of Government of India. Initially, Qmax Test Equipments Pvt. Ltd., was manufacturing QT100MF1, QT100MF2 and QT50.
1994
Qmax Test Equipments Pvt. Ltd., launched a new product QT-300, a Bus Cycle Signature Tester, exclusively for CPU based mother boards. The Bus Cycle Signature method is patented in UK and USA.
1995
During this year, Qmax’s ultimate product QT-200 was launched and from day one, it was recognised as the best test system of its kind, globally. Exports mounted to new heights. Qmax Test Technologies Pvt. Ltd., was created, the marketing arm of Qmax Test Equipments Pvt Ltd. Qmax Test Technologies Pvt Ltd. was awarded the marketing rights of products like Soldering stations, De-soldering stations, hand held meters, conformal coating removal equipment of various manufacturers like M/s Den-on, Japan, M/s Leister, Switzerland, M/s Extech, USA, etc.
1996
QT-150 was born this year. In this same year Qmax Test Equipments Pvt. Ltd., developed the software GTPG (Graphical Test Program Generator), which is industry’s best program generating software.
1997
QT-75 was derived out of QT-150, a VI test system. Successfully developed Circuit Tracer Software (CT) for reverse engineering of PCBs, where the circuit diagrams are not available.

1998
QT-25, a Shorts Locator tester, used to find track shorts or open in a PCB, was released. This was priced at a low level, and filled the market. Also in this same year CATS-100, a Computer Aided Test System was introduced for the education purpose. This type of system was supplied to almost all the Polytechnics / ITIs / Engineering. Mr. S.R. Sabapathi was invited to submit a technical paper on Bus Cycle Signature System at Asian Test Symposium on 2nd to 4th December 1998 at Singapore.
Qmax Test Equipments Pvt. Ltd., was certified ISO 9001 for it’s manufacturing activity.Also certified ISO 9002 for its marketing wing.
1999
QT-8200 & LCD Tester are the two new entrants of this year. QT-8200, High Speed Mixed Signal In-Circuit Functional Tester, was a grand global success.
2000
Panther AX & Rabbit, High Speed Open/Short Testers, were the new models inducted during this year. This year Qmax had initiated the construction of the new building at Sholinganallur.
2001
QT-2128, Automated Test Equipment (ATE), with 128 channels capacity was introduced this year. A good appreciation was the response in the Test industry. The state-of-the-art building with manufacturing facility, Research & Development facility, etc., was inaugurated on 6th August at Elcot Avenue, I.T. Highway, Sholinganallur, Chennai by His Excellency Consulate General of Singapore Government.
2002
QT-2256, ATE with 256 channels and QT2256-S, Semi-con tester, used in Semi-conductors (IC etc.) manufacturing were developed during this year. Qmax succeeded in supplying its Semi-con Tester to IDT, Philippines, a leading manufacturer of ICs.

2003
V200, Desk-top version of ATE was developed to meet the current technology and yet fully competent for the older version PCBs. This year Qmax had developed its interface with host computers from PCI version to the latest version of USB. Hence the software supported were also upgraded to match the requirements. Signed MoU with Green Mountain Inc., U.S.A., for VHDL Simulator. Developed VHDL based Test programs and Device libraries for in-circuit emulation.
Qmax Test Equipments Pvt. Ltd. decided to take up direct marketing globally and in the process appointed dealers in Thailand, South Africa, Syria, Turkey, France, Bangladesh etc. apart from the existing dealers.
2004
Panther 16K, MicroATE are being introduced by Qmax Test Equipments Pvt. Ltd. Panther 16K is the first of its kind in the world, which is capable of testing 16,000 test points for open or short in less than 128 seconds. This was installed at M/s BHEL, Gaziabhad. MicroATE has already bagged order from M/s Agilent Technologies. Signed VAR agreement with National Instrumentation (NI) for the IEEE Standard PXI instruments. Industry’s IEEE standard PXI instruments integrated to support our high end ATEs.
This year appointed dealers in UK, USA, Sri Lanka, Italy etc.
2005
QT-2128_320-PXI a new ATE version with 320 channels and integrated with PXI instrumentation has been launched. This system is the ultimate tester with latest technological advancements and is capable of trouble-shooting any type of PCBs. A very good response and orders from the test industry, globally.
Qmax, was Credit Rated by DUN & BROADSTREET as SE2A.

2006
A host of enhanced features were added to the ATE, QT-2128_320PXI, hardware as well as in the software.
Bagged MicroATE orders from Semi-Con manufacturers, Singapore.
Developed QT-PXI-25, a new product that goes with PXI module, for shorts locating in PCBs.
Entered into Joint Venture agreement with M/s. Wayne Kerr, USA, to market and support Qmax products in the US market.
Appointed dealer for Brazil, Philippines etc.
During this year Qmax was registered as Approved Defence Supplier for Korean Defence.
In India, DGQA, Electronics Wing after assessing our development & manufacturing facility, Approved & Certified Qmax as regular supplier for Indian Military.
Co-sponsored two events conducted by CII, in New Delhi during 15th November & 04th December 2006.

Developed QNimits, a hand-held VI Signature Tester, QScan, Boundary Scan Test System, and V2200, a Mid-range Automated Test System.
Also Qmax had developed Panther-II HT, Wire Harness Tester, and succeeded in entering in the automobile industry.
Opened subsidiary office at USA under the name QmaxTest Research Inc., Texas and Joint Venture offices at Singapore under the name Qmax Far East Pte Ltd., Singapore.
